Moo Cards

Here is about a quarter of the cards that I got :)

For a new type of business card, check out http://www.moo.com . The cards are smaller in size, but a lot more fun than the average business card. You can upload all your own pictures and such and use them for the front of your cards. I chose 50 photos of my artwork and then got 2 of each design. The back contains all useful info such as web address, email, phone number, company name, slogan, logo, etc.

My favorite thing about them is that they only take a sliver of your photos. You get to customize the sliver. The result is some very interesting pieces of your photos. You can check out what people have used their moo cards for on the website. You can also check out the Moo forums and groups on http://www.flickr.com . I just joined one where you can trade your Moo cards with other people. I think that is a great way to collect mini art from around the country/world.

Stunning Vintage Button Necklaces

Sylvia Vincent on Etsy.com

The first artist I would like to spotlight is Sylvia Vincent. She is an australian jewelry artist that works with wire, vintage buttons, silver, copper, and beads. I own two of her Vintage Button Necklaces and have given one as a gift. When I wear the necklace I feel like a goddess.
Check out her shop on Etsy at http://SylviaVincent.etsy.com .
